Hello Capital Stampers!
I have been away for a while, as I took a little time off from stamping last month. I was pretty busy with work and other things, and I wanted to enjoy some of the nice summer weather we had. I also needed to clear out and reorganize my stamping area. It was getting too cluttered, I couldn't find anything, and I had no room to stamp!
I think I have all my supplies under control now, and I received a wonderful stamp set with my last order that I couldn't wait to dig in and create with - Delicate Dahlias! You can earn the Delicate Dahlias stamp set for FREE with a purchase of $100 or more in Stampin' Up! product through September 30th.
These are the cards I made during my Lunchtime Live on Facebook today. Click here to watch the replay!
For the top card, I stamped the large dahlia image on Crumb Cake cardstock with Cherry Cobbler ink. The leaf image is Garden Green. I love the way the colors look on the Crumb Cake!
The card on the lower left uses the striped pattern in Calypso Coral from the You're a Peach Designer Series Paper. I stamped the smaller, line art flowers in Balmy Blue and Calypso Coral, added some of the little leaf images in Pear Pizazz, then finished it off with a sentiment in Calypso Coral on a Basic White oval and layered on the scalloped oval in Calypso Coral. The ovals were punched from the Double Oval Punch.
The last card uses the dahlia images stamped in Polished Pink. The leaves are Granny Apple Green. I cut an inch off of the front panel, and layered a piece of Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper on the white panel on the inside. The Beautifully Penned DSP is another Sale-a-Bration item you can also free with $50 purchase.
As an added bonus, this month I am offering a special gift with any order of $35 or more (before S&H and tax) you place with me. I will send you a pack of 12 pieces cut at 6" by 4" of either the Flower & Field or Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. These were papers offered in our first Sale-a-Bration earlier this year.
Thank you so much for choosing me as your Demonstrator! Use the September Host Code for orders under $150 and get happy mail from me! September's Host Code is VFSA3GN6.
Happy Stamping!
Michelle
